Faith and the Economy: Call for Interviews
When you come across a challenge that is expansive and deep, you may not even realize when you’ve come to the other side. That day will come. And when it does, how will you look at your crossing?
This Great Recession still lingers for many of us.
I am no longer drowning in the same financial insecurity that I’ve felt for the past several years. Patience and faith changed my outlook and my circumstances during this shared time of economic suffering.
What I learned—I know God sustained our family.
What about you?
What role did faith play in your life through the recession? Did your faith grow or recede?
Do you feel God has sustained you or turned his back? What evidences have you seen?
Who have you turned to when money or jobs disappear and emotions peak? How have they helped?
Despite the financial distresses, what life lessons did you learn as a result of these tough times? How has your personality or your character changed?
I’m gathering stories and experiences about faith in this difficult economy. In particular, I’d like to learn of positive personal outcomes despite negative circumstances.
I plan to interview a variety of persons of any religion and living in locations across the United States and even other countries, if possible.
And I’d like to hear from you and those you know.
If you would like to participate or know someone I might want to interview, please fill out the short form below. Thank you for participating and sharing.
