A Living Christ Christmas

Living Christ Christmas

Merry Christmas to you and your family. May you feel uplifted in spirit as we not only celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ but his life, ministry, atonement and resurrection. He is The Living Christ.

This Christmas Eve is our first since moving into a new home, and that means celebrating in some new spaces and places and changing some of our traditional Christmas celebration activities.

We will still gather around our Living Christ Christmas tree, where each ornament symbolizes a particular aspect of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ from The Living Christ, and read the Christmas store from Luke 2.

But, with a change of setting and traditions, this Christmas message has guided my celebrations this year:

We find the real joy of Christmas when we make the Savior the focus of the season. President Thomas S. Monson

Brining Christ’s spirit into my life more fully this month has been a personal testimony to me of his Atonement as I seek the gifts of faith, hope and charity. And it’s my wish to carry these gifts with me beyond just this season.

How about you, How is the Savior the focus of your Christmas?

I’m collecting true Christmas stories, experiences, traditions, and examples for my next work in progress. Please share!
